With pavement quality going south, Caltrans to expedite repairs on eastbound Highway 12

The delays and detours will be in place this weekend along eastbound Highway 12 through Santa Rosa, where Caltrans crews will work around the clock to complete pavement replacement work that otherwise would take up to a year. Eastbound state Highway 12 in Santa Rosa will have full and partial closures starting this Friday through Monday next week to expedite pavement replacement operations, Caltrans said.

The closures will begin at 8 p.m. April 19 and continue through 5 a.m. April 22, according to the agency.
