The Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District in Solano County has a new superintendent in Jennifer Sachs, a school administrator from neighboring Contra Costa County.

The school district’s governing board on March 28 unanimously agreed to appoint Sachs, the chief of educational services with Mt. Diablo Unified School District.
