San Leandro appoints first-ever director for city’s new Recreation and Parks Department

San Leandro has appointed its first-ever director for its new recreation and parks department, city officials said this week.

Vicente Zuniga “brings a wealth of experience and a demonstrated commitment to community enrichment and partnerships to this newly created position,” according to a statement from the city manager’s office.
