AN AI-GENERATED VOICE that sounds like President Biden and tried to discourage voter participation last month is proof that artificial intelligence is a threat to public trust and can discourage voter participation, Assemblymember Gail Pellerin, a Santa Cruz Democrat, told CalMatters.
