The San Francisco 49ers lost Super Bowl LVIII to the Kansas City Chiefs 25-22 on Sunday.

The overtime thriller ended with the 49ers giving up a touchdown to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs to win the game and the NFL title in Las Vegas.

The 49ers had last won it all in 1995, the 29th Super Bowl, and were close to winning it 29 years later, leading the game at halftime and after it was tied and went to overtime, but could not stop the Chiefs from scoring a touchdown to win the game.
