Throughout the month of February, the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter is hosting the “Somebody to Love” adoption special, featuring a 50 percent discount on adoption fees.
The shelter, located at 1001 Rodriguez Street, is open every day from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. In order to adopt, potential adopters need to be at least 21 years old, have a photo ID and should be thoughtful and considerate of pets suitable for their lifestyle and living environment.
