A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held Jan. 30 to celebrate the reopening of the Van Buskirk Community Center gymnasium.

City officials said that in 2021, the gym floor had been damaged due to flooding, but repairs have since been made from funding approved by the Stockton City Council.

The event, located at 734 Houston Ave., will take place at 5 p.m. and will offer refreshments and basketball activities.
