First Lady Jill Biden have spoken at an event in Healdsburg to support her husband’s presidential re-election campaign, the second such event she attended in the Bay Area in as many days.
The Thursday event at Puma Springs Vineyards for the Biden Victory Fund came after one at a home in San Francisco on Wednesday. At both events, the first lady spoke to supporters about her first date with then-U.S. Sen. Joe Biden and his accomplishments during his first term as president.
At Thursday’s event in Healdsburg, pro-Palestinian protesters chanted outside in support of a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, according to pool reports.
The first lady did not have any other gatherings scheduled in the Bay Area this week. Her next campaign event is Friday in Columbus, Ohio.
