Nonprofits in Marin County can apply for a program that aims to give financial aid to organizations that provide free services that benefit residents in the county.
According to county officials, nonprofits can be granted $10,000 to $30,000 by the Nonprofit Community Partners program.Â
County officials said these one-time grants aim to be applied to projects and programs that can be completed within the designated fiscal year.
Those interested can submit their applications online. The deadline is on Feb. 20, 2024. Application guidelines and criteria can be seen at the county’s website.
According to county officials, applicants must prove that their services will be delivered to benefit Marin County residents. The services must also be offered to all county residents regardless of race, ethnic background, religion or any other limiting factors.
County officials said they will review applications and make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors in June 2024 as part of the adoption of the final annual budget for 2024-2025.
