As Lafayette council rotates in new leaders, one former mayor announces her resignation

Former Mayor Teresa Gerringer announced that she will resign from her position on the Lafayette City Council effective next month.

Gerringer revealed her decision this past Friday, four days after the council selected Councilmember Gina Dawson to be mayor and Councilmember Wei-Tai Kwok to serve as vice mayor during the Dec. 11 meeting.
