Rains forecast in the San Francisco Bay Area this week beginning Sunday will be lighter than what had been earlier projected, the National Weather Service said.
In an updated bulletin, the weather service said there will be a slight decrease in the expected rain totals at 1-3 inches for most areas, and a trend toward drier conditions will then be observed on Thursday.
