Caltrain is seeking new representatives for its panel focusing on commuters who use active transportation, such as bicycling and walking, to access the rail line.
According to Caltrain, there are two spots available for its Bicycle & Active Transportation Advisory Committee, which seeks to integrate the interests and views of riders who use active transportation to use the rail line.
The openings are for a member of the public from Santa Clara County and a representative of a bicycle advocacy group from San Mateo County, Caltrain officials said.
Those interested can apply on or before Nov. 30 at www.caltrain.com/batac or by calling (650) 508- 6391. The panel meets every other month at 5:45 p.m. via Zoom. All meetings are open to the public, Caltrain officials said.
The Bicycle & Active Transportation Advisory Committee is comprised of nine volunteer members from San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.
