UNIVERSITY OF THE PACIFIC opened its campus to the public for the annual Pacific Trick or Treat event Wednesday evening.

Organized by the university’s student life division, the free event welcomed 3,000-4,000 trick or treaters to participate in activities and win candy. Families walked from building to building across the campus to fill up their buckets with candy from the university’s students, faculty and staff.

“Everyone is welcome to dress up and bring their families here to have a good time in this fun and safe environment,” said Mike Klocke, the university’s senior director of media relations. Klocke dressed up as the Candy King, giving out sweet treats to children and posing for photos with them at UoP’s candy-themed booth.
