Class acts: National Blue Ribbon Schools list includes five winners from Greater Bay Area

Five Greater Bay Area schools have been included in this year’s cohort of National Blue Ribbon Schools recognized by the United States Department of Education for their overall academic performance and progress in closing achievement gaps among students.

Around 353 schools across the country were recognized as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2023, including 33 schools in California, the Department of Education said.
