All Health and Human Services lobbies open to the public. Staff will continue to provide services remotely when possible for safety reasons, and residents in need of HHS services should consider conducting conversations over the phone or email when possible. Please call ahead if you have an appointment or require in-person assistance.

Reopening
Schools
All Marin County schools are open for in-person instruction. Check status of schools using the school status dashboard. Marin County Public Health officials strongly recommend parents of children and adolescents eligible for COVID-19 vaccination to get fully vaccinated. Masks not required for students or staff.
Libraries

Most parks open.
Religious Services
No capacity limits.
Public Transportation
Masks not required but strongly recommended while at bus stops and terminals, while boarding and disembarking, and for the duration of travel. Marin Transit no longer requires social distancing on its buses (except for 6-foot distancing around the bus operator area).
Government Services
Courts
Face coverings recommended but not required in court facilities. No appointments required for in-person services at the Civil, Family Law, Probate, or Small Claims clerks’ windows.
City Buildings
Some offices open for in-person visits. Online or remote visits encouraged. Face coverings recommended indoors.
DMV
DMV offices are open and providing service to customers. Most DMV tasks can be taken care of without an office visit. Visit https://dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv-online/ for information on online services.
