The Djerassi Resident Artists Program is accepting reservations for its fall series of guided hikes for nature and art lovers.
The program’s hike director and volunteers will guide groups of 20 on a 3.5-mile trek through Djerassi’s 583-acre ranch, stopping by over 40 sculptures.
The 3-hour hikes take place every Sunday from Sept. 11 through Nov. 27. While several of the dates are offered free of charge, these fill up quickly and are already fully booked. Space is still available for several of the paid hikes at a price of $50 per person. Reservations are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
On Oct. 16, the Djerassi ranch will also host its Artful Harvest event from 3 to 7 p.m. The event will include sunset cocktails, dinner, a live auction and performances by alumni artists of the Djerassi program.
Proceeds from the event benefit the resident artists program. More information will be available on the group’s website closer to the event.
