A key Bay Area commission may reverse a setback dealt to the Oakland A’s plans to build a new waterfront ballpark.

A report released this week by the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission said that the land where the A’s propose to build the ballpark is not needed by the Port of Oakland.
