Assemblyman Frazier will depart office at year’s end for ‘new opportunities’

State Assemblyman Jim Frazier, D-Fairfield, has announced his resignation effective the end of the year after first being elected to his seat in 2012.

Frazier, who represents District 11 that includes portions of Solano, Contra Costa and Sacramento counties, announced the resignation Wednesday, saying he “will be seeking new opportunities in the field of transportation.”
