The Lafayette School District’s governing board will hold a study session Tuesday to discuss district strategy and future opportunities, focusing on 2025 and beyond.

The meeting will be at 3 p.m. and is a follow-up to an Aug. 23 meeting, at which board members discussed progress in areas like finance and budgets, student wellness, and social emotional learning, the district said in a statement.

Trustees also discussed additions and extensions to the curriculum, sustainability, special education, diversity and inclusion, and other broad goals, such as public engagement and creating a culture of innovation.

At Tuesday’s meeting, district leaders will narrow their focus on outcomes and benchmarks toward achieving them, while dedicating resources to the highest priorities.

The meeting, held at the library of Stanley Middle School, won’t be streamed or recorded, but is open to the public. Stanley Middle School is at 3455 School St. in Lafayette.
