The Martinez City Council on Tuesday will consider whether to transfer $122,705 from its general fund unassigned reserves to its marine enterprise fund, for repairs to the Martinez Marina caused by a winter storm.

On Jan. 19, the marina was hit with winds up to 74 miles per hour and swells up to 20 feet high, damaging parts of the marina beyond city maintenance staff’s normal capacity to repair.
