The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office has sent deputies to the Dixie Fire area to help their law enforcement counterparts in Plumas County and Lassen County.
This is the department’s third multi-day deployment at the fire. The teams have included sheriff’s deputies as well as officers from the Concord Police Department and the East Bay Regional Park District.
