Pixie Woods, a children’s amusement and theme park in Stockton, is reopening for the 2021 season starting June 19.
Pixie Woods, located at 3121 Monte Diablo Ave., has been open for 67 years and offers a variety of activities such as the Pixie Express Train, Frontier Town where individuals can see what the Wild Wild West was like as well as a cruise ride on the Pixie Queen.
Pixie Woods staff said dozens of volunteers worked to polish up the park and change it from winter mode to summer mode for its opening day.
Park hours will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Sunday in the months of June and July.
From August through October, Pixie Woods will only be open to the public on Sundays.
The amusement park offers a family membership with benefits that include unlimited free admissions for up to six immediate family members, two adults and four children of the same household, discounted prices on rides and monthly notifications of upcoming special events at the park.
The city of Stockton has membership applications available on its website. The forms can be returned at the entry booth at Pixie Woods.
Membership prices are $70. Ages 2 and over are $5, while children under 2 get free admission.
Prices for Pixie Woods rides are $2 for 1 ride, $5 for 3 rides and unlimited rides for $9.
