As part of the region’s “To Tri-Valley with Love” economic recovery campaign, Tri-Valley businesses recently began offering a digital “Promise Pass” with discounts at nearly 100 businesses.

The cities of Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon, and Danville are partnering with the organization Visit Tri-Valley to offer the deals to drive spending as businesses get back on their feet from COVID-19 lockdowns.

The campaign is asking shoppers to spend at least $25 a week at local stores, instead of shopping online or at big box stores.

“The beauty of this campaign is that it connects people,” Visit Tri-Valley President Tracy Farhad said in a statement. “As a community, we are all intimately connected and equally responsible for maintaining this region’s vibrancy and quality of life, of which our local shops, restaurants and cultural institutions are an indelible part. It’s time to step away from our internet devices, get outside and reconnect with each other.”

And spend money.

The campaign will regularly add new offers to the pass, which is free and can be accessed online.
