Heather Farm Park’s all-abilities playground in Walnut Creek closed Monday for two weeks of preventative maintenance, city officials said.

The playground area will have temporary fencing installed and the city will not allow picnic rentals during the closure. The park is expected to reopen on March 5 following the maintenance work.
