Mark DeMarco, for the past 14 years the president of De La Salle High School in Concord, announced Tuesday he will retire at the end of the current school year in June 2021.

DeMarco, a 1978 De La Salle graduate and a former teacher there, made the announcement on the school’s website. He said he had told the board in June 2019 he would serve through the end of his current five-year contract and then retire.
