The Oakland Tool Lending Library is launching its sidewalk tool pickup services Thursday, the Oakland Public Library announced.
The OTLL, located at 5205 Telegraph Ave., is a branch of the city’s public library and offers more than 5,000 tools that can be borrowed by Oakland, Emeryville and Piedmont residents and property owners.
In order to place a hold on a tool and schedule a pickup time, patrons must register with the OTLL, then call the library at (510) 597-5089, Thursday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
When available, the tools can be picked up in the same timeframe on the sidewalk outside the OTLL.
