Oakland officials recently celebrated the newest city-funded public artwork — two 45-foot-wide roadway arches along MacArthur Boulevard.

Vice Mayor Larry Reid and City Councilman Loren Taylor were on hand for the Nov. 8 dedication of the MacArthur Boulevard Gateway Arches.
