Electricity customers frustrated by the recent round of PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoffs may want to brace for another round as soon as this week, the utility has warned.

Pacific Gas and Electric Co. has activated its Emergency Operations Center in San Francisco to monitor a potentially strong and dry offshore wind event that could impact portions of the North Bay, Sacramento Valley and the Sierra Foothills on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 23-24.
