San Francisco supervisors propose creating office of racial equality

Two San Francisco supervisors on May 14 proposed creating a new city office to address what they say are the city’s growing racial inequalities.

During the Board of Supervisors meeting, Supervisors Sandra Lee Fewer and Vallie Brown introduced legislation to create the Office of Racial Equity.
