The seventh annual Chinatown Halloween Neighborhood Festival is set to take place Saturday in San Francisco, and after a rough year, organizers are hoping the event will raise the historic neighborhood’s spirits.

The family-friendly Halloween event goes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Waverly Place, between Sacramento and Washington streets, and at the Willie “Woo Woo” Wong Playground clubhouse.
