The Pittsburg City Council unanimously approved a $46 million tax district Monday night to pay for infrastructure of the Tuscany Meadows subdivision on the city’s eastern border with Antioch.
The 135-acre site will host up to 917 new housing units on a former oil tank farm. Tuscany Meadows will be built next to another Discovery Builders project, Sky Ranch II, which is approved for another 417 homes. Last month, the City Council approved the company’s 1,500-home Faria/Southwest Hills project.
