The West Contra Costa Unified School District is encouraging families to fill out a survey that will gather input on a possible return to in-person instruction for students.

The survey is available in English and Spanish and asks questions about what families need to feel safe about sending their students back to school. The district, like others in the Bay Area, went to a distance learning format in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The survey can be accessed online and can be filled out until 8 p.m. on Jan. 8.
