AC Transit, the bus system serving more than 3 million riders a month in Alameda and Contra Costa counties, said last week it has reached an agreement to increase wages 3% a year through fiscal 2028-29.
The 2.5-year contract ratified by Local 3916 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees will help retain skilled employees, the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District said in a press release.
