San Mateo County’s agriculture production value grew by about $10 million in 2025 compared to the previous year, an increase largely led by a boost in the value of potted plants and flowers.
“Many people don’t realize just how important nursery crops are to agriculture in San Mateo County,” said county Agricultural Commissioner Koren Widdel in a statement. “They’re a big part of our economy.”
