Multiple law enforcement agencies coordinated to help get custody of a suspect who allegedly fled police in East Palo Alto on Saturday and jumped into the San Francisco Bay.
The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post that on Saturday morning, it received a request for assistance after a “dangerous” suspect allegedly fled from East Palo Alto police officers on foot before entering the waters of the San Francisco Bay near Cooley Landing located along the city’s shore.
