A minor charged with killing a young man after his high school graduation ceremony in Fairfield may be tried as an adult following a petition from the Solano County District Attorney’s Office.

On Tuesday, 17-year-old Khare Clark appeared in juvenile court to plead not guilty to charges of murder and several counts of attempted murder in the shooting death of 18-year-old Jamario Baker. On June 3, Clark allegedly opened fire in the parking lot of Sem Yeto High School following the school’s graduation ceremony.
