Vogue announced Thursday that its global fashion and cultural event, Vogue World, will be hosted in San Francisco next year.

“Vogue believes in celebrating cities, and San Francisco is a city like none other,” said Anna Wintour in a statement. Wintour is the chief content officer of Vogue’s publisher Conde Nast, and the global editorial director of Vogue.
