The family of a woman who died after being released from the Marin County Jail plans to announce a federal civil rights lawsuit this week alleging that jail staff failed to provide adequate medical care while she was in custody.
Attorney Christian Contreras said the family of Tammy Manzanilla is suing Marin County and the Central Marin Police Authority for wrongful death and civil rights violations.
