The San Mateo County Board of Supervisors moved forward Tuesday with deciding on a location to lease a new sobering center in Burlingame after the vote was delayed last week due to city officials not getting sufficient notice about the center.

All supervisors except Board President Noelia Corzo agreed to allow county staff to negotiate an agreement with Horizon Treatment Services on a lease contract to build a sobering center in Burlingame after the previously proposed location in the city of San Mateo faced significant community pushback.
