Early returns in Tuesday’s Solano County Board of Supervisors race show District 3 incumbent Wanda Williams in the lead for the seat and Vacaville Councilmember Mike Silva ahead in the District 4 race.
As of 8:02 p.m. returns, Williams had 49% of the vote, with Solano County sheriff’s deputy Eldon Brooke Parker coming in second with 27%, followed by the third candidate, Fairfield Mayor Catherine “Cat” Moy, at 25%.
In both races, if no one gets a majority of the votes, the top two finishers will go into a November runoff.
District 3 covers the central western portion of the county that houses Suisun City and a portion of Fairfield, including the Travis Air Force Base.
Early returns for the District 4 supervisor race show Silva in the lead with 44% of the vote, followed by Vacaville Mayor John Carli with 37%. Joshua “Juan” Desmarais comes in third with 19%.
District 4 encompasses the northern part of the county and includes Vacaville and Dixon.
