Disco Ranch, a wine shop and specialty foods retailer in Boonville, is launching a new tasting room experience highlighting three boutique wineries that do not operate their own public tasting rooms.
The new program features wines from Minus Tide, Read Holland Wines and Lussier, offering visitors an opportunity to sample the wineries’ limited-production wines. The program will emphasize Mendocino County vineyards.
Each tasting will include a flight of three wines from a single winery and will be led by shop owner Wendy Lamer. The tastings are designed to be informal and educational, according to Lamer.

“The new tasting room experience was part of my original plan for Disco Ranch, so I am thrilled to finally bring this dream to life,” Lamer said. “I selected Minus Tide, Read Holland and Lussier because not only do they have incredible, well-deserved press and high-scoring wines, they are also great people who are all about craft and still remain humble.”
Disco Ranch opened in 2019 and specializes in curated local wines alongside selections from France, Spain and Italy.
The shop has received statewide recognition, including being named one of California’s best wine shops by the San Francisco Chronicle in 2023 and ranked No. 2 in USA Today’s “10 Best Wine Shops in the U.S.” in 2025. It has also received Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence annually since 2020.
Tastings are available by reservation via Tock and by walk-in. Disco Ranch is open Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Mondays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 14025 Highway 128, Boonville. Call (707) 901-5002 or discoranch.com for more information.
