A suspect arrested after he allegedly crashed a vehicle into a San Jose post office and sparked a fire over the weekend is reportedly the brother of the late NFL player and U.S. Army Ranger Pat Tillman.
About 3 a.m. Sunday, police and firefighters responded to the U.S. Post Office in the 6500 block of Crown Boulevard, where the building caught fire after the collision, San Jose police said.Â
No injuries were reported and the fire was knocked down by 4:30 a.m.
The suspect, 44-year-old Richard Tillman, is reportedly the brother of the late Pat Tillman.
Richard Tillman was arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on suspicion of arson. Police said the motive and circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
Jail records show Tillman is being held on $60,000 bail and is due to appear in Santa Clara County Superior Court on Wednesday.
