San Francisco Sheriff’s Office chief of staff Richard Jue has been charged with two misdemeanors for allegedly running into a parked Tesla in March and then filing a false police report, prosecutors said Monday.

Jue allegedly waited two weeks to report the March 4 collision on southbound Diamond Heights Boulevard near Duncan Street. Jue was off-duty and driving a sheriff’s vehicle at the time, according to the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office.
