Bay Area restaurants can now apply for $5K resilience grants from Restaurant Cares fund

APPLICATIONS HAVE OPENED for the annual Restaurant Cares Resilience Fund which will award $5,000 grants to over 230 restaurants across the state, the California Restaurant Foundation said.

The fund was created in 2021 by the foundation in response to the economic impact the COVID-19 pandemic had on the restaurant industry. The foundation is the nonprofit arm of the California Restaurant Association, a lobbying group that advocates for the restaurant industry.
