Just because the Bay Area isn’t suffering though massive wildfires doesn’t mean its firefighters aren’t hard at work.

The Alameda County Fire Department has sent more firefighters to battle the wildfires in Los Angeles County, bringing its total to 27. The department said Monday its first deployment to the Palisades Fire started Jan. 7. The most recent was Friday.
