BayNorth Church of Christ has opened a winter shelter for Fairfield residents who are unhoused through March 31, 2025.

The intake process is from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and shelter exit time at 6 a.m. each morning.

The winter shelter is on a first-come, first-served basis each night with a limited capacity of 10 people.

People using the shelter must be able to independently manage activities of daily living and agree to comply with program guidelines.

The winter shelter address is 2100 Pennsylvania Ave. and can be reached at 707-260-9794.

People can take Fairfield’s FAST bus to the shelter for free on Route 3 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. Board the bus at the Fairfield Transportation Center and let the driver know you are going to the winter shelter. Exit the bus at Solano Town Center, make a left on Pennsylvania Avenue and walk one block to BayNorth Church of Christ.
