Bay Area folks interested in the vagaries of love — or maybe even finding it — might want to check out “Writing for Relationships,” a free event at the Mill Valley Library Monday evening.

Three authors associated with Marin County will discuss such things as living apart while in a committed relationship, hope after widowhood and “An A to Z Guide for Lasting Love.”

Marcia Naomi Berger, a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist with a private practice in San Rafael, is the author of the latter tome. Vicki Larson of Mill Valley, a longtime award-winning Bay Area journalist, has written books including “LATitude: How You Can Make a Live Apart Together Relationship Work.”

Rounding out the panel is Debbie Weiss, the author of the award-winning memoir “Available As Is: A Midlife Widow’s Search for Love,” about creating a new life and finding hope after widowhood.

The panel discussion will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Mill Valley Library, 375 Throckmorton Ave., Mill Valley. More information is available on the library website.
