There will be new faces on the Livermore City Council.
According to early and unofficial results Tuesday night, engineering supervisor Steven Dunbar (39.62%) was ahead of business owner Jeff Kaskey (31.41%) and physicist David Farley (28.97%) to succeed District 3 councilmember Brittni Kiick, who decided not to run after one term on the council.
In District 4, Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District trustee Kristie Wang garnered 55.82% of the vote, outdistancing retired physicist Thomas Soules (44.18%) Longtime District 4 councilmember Bob Carling will be termed out.
Longtime councilmember and current Mayor John Marchand is the only candidate running for the mayor post this year.
