Several Marin County departments are offering free, walk-up legal assistance for residents in San Rafael’s Canal Area neighborhood this month as part of their Clean Slate program, according to the county.
Departments will offer services like helping residents clear criminal records, terminate probation, dismiss a conviction and assist with access to public benefits like Medi-Cal, CalFresh food assistance, CalWORKs services, coordinated entry, and general housing or financial relief for families.
