Two Contra Costa County Fair employees were robbed at gunpoint earlier this week when they were attempting to deposit fair money at a bank in Antioch, police said Thursday.
Antioch police said at approximately 2:18 a.m. Monday officers responded to the 2500 block of Somersville Road for the report of an armed robbery. Â
Officers contacted two fair employees who said they were trying to do the fair’s nightly deposit when they were approached by a suspect with a gun who took the money and the victims’ personal belongings.
